In addition, the following specific requirements must be met regarding age, prior education, and demonstrated disrance proficiency in the basic and learning prerequisite skills needed for college-level work in the chosen field of study.Age Requirement. Applicant must be at least program and accredited 21 years of age by the first day of classes. Documentation of age is required. Prior Education Requirement Information disrance Technology (IT) program applicants must hold a bachelor''s degree from an approved post-secondary institution. This must be evidenced learning in any program of the following ways: Submission of ACT or SAT examination scores deemed appropriate by DeVry. Attainment of acceptable scores on DeVry-administered accredited placement examinations in reading, writing, arithmetic, and elementary algebra. Submission or required documentation indicating acceptable grades in disrance qualifying college-level work completed at an approved post-secondary institution. Twenty-four qualifying semester credit learning hours (or the equivalent) in which the language of instruction was English, and including program at least three semester credit hours in English composition, demonstrate proficiency in language skills.
